Bayan signs 100MT coal supply deal with Indian firm

IDX-listed coal-mining firm PT Bayan Resources Tbk reported that it has on Thursday signed coal supply deal with Indian firm Universal Crescent Power Limited .
Under the deal, Bayan will supply 100MT of coal to Saurastra Super Themal Power Project unit -1 and -2 in Gujarat and Sagar Super Themal Power Project, West Bengal Unit -3, all of which are owned by Universal.
Shipment will start in 2015 for 15 years.
Universal is a unit of Indian connglomerate USE Group which is developing 2,000 MW power plant project in Sagar, West Bengal and 4,000 MW in Saurashtra, Gujarat. (denny)
