Bayan signs 3.45MT coal supply deal

IDX-listed coal mining firm PT Bayan Resources signed on Tuesday 3.45 MT coal supply deal with East Kalimantan power plant operator PT Kariangau Power. (KP).
Under the deal, Bayan will supply 230,000 tonnes of coal annually to KP for 15 years starting 2012.
The company did not disclose further detail.
KP is developing a power plant with capacity of 2x50 MW in Balikpapan. (romel)
