Bayan, Tuas Power in 13.36MT coal supply deal

Indonesia-listed mining group PT Bayan Resources Tbk announced Tuesday that it has signed 13.36 million tonnes (MT) of coal supply deal with Singapore-based firm TP Utilities Pte Ltd (TPU).
Bayan said in a statement that coal supply will start next year, under the 15 year contract.
TPU is wholly-owned Singapore public utility Tuas Power Ltd. TPU owns PT Tembusu Multi-Utilities complex in Jorong Island, which is now under construction. (kanti)
