BDA targeting to commence production in 2017

Emerging coal mining company PT Batubara Duaribu Abadi (BDA) plans to bring its coal concession in Regency of South Barito and Muara Teweh, Central Kalimantan into production in 2017.

Aji Sukendro, Technical Manager of the company told Petromindo.com on Tuesday that currently the company is now in construction phase which has reached more than 20% of completion.

?We are targeting to start producing coal in the second quarter of 2017,? he said adding that for the first year the company is eyeing around 500,000 tons output. The concession measures about 23,000 hectares and has a coal CV of 5600 GAR with total resources of around 100 million tons.
