BDK wins coal supply contract to the Philippines

Coal mining and trading firm PT.Bumi Dharma Kencana (BDK) has clinched long-term deal to supply coal to a proposed 200-MW power plant in Cebu, the Philippines, a company official said.
Director Wahjudi Gatot told Petromindo.Com on Wednesday that the company will supply 30,000 tonnes of coal per month to the Naga power plant, which is 60 percent owned by Korean firm Korea Electric Power Corp. (KEPCO) and 40 percent by SPC Power Corp. The contract, he said, would be for 10 years.
BDK will supply coal for the power plant would be sourced from the company?s mines in Satui, South Kalimantan. (denny)
