Bekasi Power starts operation of power plant in Bekasi

PT Bekasi Power, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PT Jababeka Tbk, has completed successfully all testing and commissioning of its full combined cycled power plant (PLTGU) and now has started commercial operation.
The company said in a press statement on Wednesday that it is also in a process of getting a certificate of commercial operation date from the state utility PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN).
PT Bekasi Power has signed a power purchase agreement with PLN, which will buy the electricity from the power plant for 20 years.
