Belaz, MAZ to supply equipment to Newmont

Belarusian Autoworks (Belaz), which produces heavy duty trucks used in mining and construction, and automotive manufacturer Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) plan to supply their products to Indonesia?s gold and copper giant PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara (NNT).

Representatives of BelAZ and MAX made presentation during a trade forum in Mataram, the capital of West Nusa Tenggara Province, where NNT?s mining operation is located, held in conjunction with the visit of Belarus Ambassador to Indonesia Vladimir Lopota-Zagorsky to the capital city.

?Options for cooperation, including possible supplies of the Belarusian equipment for the needs of Indonesia's biggest mining company Newmont Nusa Tenggara,? Belarusian ministry of foreign affairs said in a statement. No further details were provided. (*)
