Belitung power plant requires 132,00 tons of coal per year

The 2x16.5 MW Belitung coal-fired power plant, which is currently under construction, will require a total of 132,000 tons of coal per year.

?To date, the suppliers are only PLN Batubara and a consortium of Batara Batari Sinergi Nusantara and Energi Batubara Lestari,? Head of Coal Division as state utility PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), Helmi Najamuddin told Petromindo.com PLN Batubara is the coal mining subsidiary of PLN.

Helmi said that the commercial operation date for the power plant is set for July 2014.
