IDX-listed PT Benakat Integra Tbk, which is engaged in the provision of integrated coal mining infrastructure and oil and gas exploration and production, said that realized oil production from the Benakat Barat field, in South Sumatra, in January-June period of this year reached 100 bopd, or about 15 percent of the full-year forecast of 662 bopd.

The Benakat Barat field is operated by subsidiary PT Benakat Barat Petroleum (BBP) under a KSO joint cooperation contract with PT Pertamina EP, a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina.

The company said in a presentation material Monday that the Benakat Barat field suspended production on January 12 of this year due to the weak oil price environment, and resumed production on April 9.

Elsewhere, Benakat said that the 2017 programs of BPP include drilling of five development wells, 11 workover programs of production wells, reactivating eight production wells, hydraulic fracturing, and stimulation of 10 production wells.
