Benakat?s first-semester coal handling volume totals 27.5m tons

PT Benakat Integra Tbk, which is engaged among others in the provision of integrated coal mining infrastructure facilities in South and East Kalimantan, said that actual coal handling volume by its subsidiary PT Astrindo Mahakarya Indonesia (AMI), in the January-June period of this year totaled 27.5 million tons.
Benakat said in a presentation material published on Monday, that actual coal handling volume by AMI subsidiaries PT Mitratama Pratama (MP) and PT Nusa Tambang Pratama (NTP) during the period reached 10.05 million tons and 17.4 million tons, respectively.
Over a period of 2015-2021, the coal handling capacity each of MP and NTP has been set at 34 million tons and 52 million tons per annum, respectively.
AMI through the two subsidiaries operates an integrated coal mining infrastructure facilities including coal processing and handling, coal baring at port terminal, coal storage and coal loading.
Benakat said in the presentation material that NTP is currently developing its coal infrastructure projects to serve its clients coal miners PT Arumin and PT KPC, which plan to ramp up production to 100 million tons per year.
