Benakat sells shares in Java Mitra

PT. Benakat Mining, a subsidiary of IDX-listed energy company PT Benakat Petroleum Energy Tbk has sold its 27.43 percent shares in PT. Java Mitra Sentosa (JMS) to PT Aiwa Artha Sejahtera.
The company said in the statement on Thursday that the sale of 27.43 percent shares conducted July 16 was worth Rp 412 billion.
Benakat Mining owns a 27.43 percent share in JMS, which in turn owns PT Delta Samudera. The latter is a coal mining company and owns a coal concession of 9,364 hectares in Nyuatan, west of East-Kutai in Kalimantan.
Currently, PT Delta Samudera is in the exploration stage and is planning a road to transport the coal. The coal reserves are estimated at 45 million tons with calorific value of 5,011-5,932 Kcal/kg.
