Beng Kuang Marine reports S$15.8 million Batam yard order book

SGX-listed Beng Kuang Marine Limited said its Indonesian unit in Batam has secured an order book of about S$15.8 million as of the first quarter of 2026.
The Batam-based subsidiary, PT Nexus Engineering Indonesia (NEI), is executing four active projects, including new-build marine barges, barge conversion and upgrade works, and offshore fabrication services, the company said in a contract update.

The projects are expected to support near-term utilisation of the Batam yard, particularly across welding, fabrication and outfitting activities.
Beng Kuang said NEI’s operations position the group to serve regional demand for shipbuilding, vessel conversion and offshore infrastructure support.
