BEP to complete land compensation for hauling road

Indonesian coal miner Bhakti Energi Persada (BEP) expects to complete land compensation process for hauling road in Kutai Timur, East Kalimantan by the end of this month, the company said.

Jeffrey Mulyono, President Director of Bhakti Energi Persada told Petromindo.com that the process currently has reached about 90 percent of completion.

"We expect by the end of this month all the process of the land compensation will be completed so we are able to commence the construction," Jeffrey said adding that all design work for the construction has been completed.

The company is planning to construct a 120 kilometres of hauling road as coal production from its coal mine in Muara Wahau district is expected to commence in 2014.

The company targets to produce 2 million tons of coal per annum.
