Berau Coal bags spot order from Hong Kong utility firm

East Kalimantan-based coal firm PT Berau Coal had secured spot order from Hong Kong utility firm China Light & Power Co, a company official said on Monday.

Berau Coal president Jeffrey Mulyono said the volume of the order is 140,000 metric tons for June shipment.

Berau Coal, operating coalmines in Berau regency in East Kalimantan, is majority owned by publicly listed heavy equipment maker PT United Tractors Tbk. Other shareholders are PT Armadian Tritunggal and Japan?s trading powerhouse Nissho Iwai. (godang)
