Berau Coal eyes sales to Hong Kong Electric

Coal mining firm Berau Coal hopes to close deal with Hong Kong power firm Hong Kong Electric to supply to coal to the latter, according to an executive from Berau Coal.
?Several coal cargoes had been shipped to Hong Kong Electric as trial and we hope to close the deal by the end of this year,? Tria Suprajeni, the company?s GM Finance and Administration told Petromindo.com in an interview at mining site Sunday.
He said if the deal was closed, Berau would supply 500,000 tons to 700,000 tons of coal per annum for three years.
Berau Coal operates a coalmine in Berau regency, East Kalimantan. (alex)
