The government has finally agreed to increase the 2014 production quota of IDX-listed coal mining company PT Berau Coal Energy Tbk to 24.2 million tons, in line with the company?s mine plan.

?After extensive discussions with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in Indonesia regarding PT Berau Coal's production quota for 2014, the quota has been increased by 1.85mt to 24.2mt for 2014,? said London-listed Asia Resource Minerals Plc (ARMS), which controls Berau, in a statement Tuesday.
