Berau Coal reports higher Q3 production

East Kalimantan coal miner PT. Berau Coal produced 2.56 million tons of coal in July-September quarter, up from 2.3 million tons in the previous quarter.
Berau?s marketing manager Singgih Widagdo said for the fourth quarter, Berau expected to produce 2,08 million tons. Singgih said the decrease in fourth quarter production was due to anticipated heavy rain, fasting month and year-end holiday.
He added that Berau was on track to produce 9 million tons of coal this year.(godang)
