Berau Coal?s Q1 sales volume stands at 6m tons

Coal miner PT Berau Coal stated that it has sold about 6 million tons of coal in the first quarter of 2016. Rudi AR, Deputy Marketing Director of PT Berau Coal told Petromindo.com that most of the coal were exported.

?Around 80 percent were exported, majority of which to China and India,? he said on the sidelines of an IPP Conference held by Petromindo. Rudi added that this year the firm is targeting to produce around 26 million tons.

Berau Coal operates three producing mines namely Lati mine, Binungan mine, and Sambarata mine in Berau Regency, North Kalimantan.
