Berau Coal to issue $500 million Notes

Indonesia-listed coal miner PT Berau Coal Energy Tbk plans to issue Notes with total worth US$500 million for purposes of funding capital expenditure and general corporate expenses.
According to the company's prospectus published in the newspaper on Friday the Notes will be listed on Singapore Exchange SGX-ST, carrying 9% interest per annum and due in 2017.
In 2012, the company is set to meet output target of 23.5 million tons, increasing 20 million tons from last year, then expects to boost it up to 27 million tons next year.
