Berau power plant in East Kalimantan resumes normal operation

The Berau mine mouth coal-fired power plant in Berau regency, East Kalimantan has resumed normal operation after suffering a technical problem in one of the company’s generator unit, Kaltim Pos reported on Wednesday.
Adjie Herro Relawan, the operation director of the power plant, said that the power plant had to stop the operation of one of the two power generators due to a technical problem in its boiler.
“The repair had been completed and the power plant has begun its normal operation,” he added.
The Berau power plant which operates two power generators each with a capacity of 7 MW, is one of major power suppliers in the Berau regency.(*)
