Berau sees Feb production down on heavy rain

East Kalimantan coal miner PT.Berau Coal said on Monday heavy rainfall that hit the mines since early February has forced the company to lower its daily production forecast.
Marketing Manager Eko Budi told Petromindo.Com that the company might cut production to 80 percent from 30,000 tonnes per day during February, where rainfall is predicted to hit the most.
The company produced 950,000 tonnes in January, Eko said. (godang)
