Berau stops production for one week

IDX-listed coal mining firm PT Berau Coal Tbk reported on Friday that it has reached production target of 23 million tonnes in 2013, a week ahead of the end of the year.
?In line with Indonesian mining regulation, Berau Coal will therefore stop producing from December 26 to December 31,? the company said, adding that coal hauling and shipping will continue.
Berau Coal operates a coal mine in Berau regency, East Kalimantan. The company is a unit of LSE-listed Asia Resources Minerals.
