Bestari A-1 well results in oil show

The drilling on Bestari A-1 well, the first exploration well within the Blora block, in Pati, Central Java, of which PT Sele Raya Energi is the operator, has indicated oil show, according to upstream authority SKK Migas.
The finding however will still need further evaluation, said Head of Exploration Division Nugrahani to petromindo.com.
Nugrahani added that Sele Raya will also later this year conduct a G&G study and a 2D seismic survey over a 338 km stretch in another area within the block.
Sele Raya was awarded exploration contract for the block in 2009.
