BET to team up with BP to build Banten LPG terminal: Reports

An Indonesian firm called PT.Banten Energy Terminal (BET) will team up with Anglo-American energy giant BP plc to build an LPG terminal facilities with capacity of 1 million tonnes in Banten province, a company official was quoted by media as saying.

BET President Kris H. Sulisto said that investment to build the facilities would be at around US$200-250 million.

He did not say when the facilities construction is expected to be completed.

Indonesian unit of BP declined to confirm the plan. ?We have seen the news, but we never comment on commercial matters which we may or may not be considering,? Nico Kanter, BP Indonesia Head of Country told Petromindo.Com on Tuesday. (*)
