Deals have been clinched to sell a total of three LNG cargoes from the Tangguh LNG plant in West Papua to UK firms British Gas (BG) and BP through spot market for July-August loading, industrial sources said.
When asked for confirmation, Vice Chairman of upstream authority SKK Migas Zikrullah told Petromindo.com that the tender for three cargoes was won by BG and BP but the tender process has not yet been concluded.
"Discussion is still ongoing," said Zikrullah, without explaining further.
He noted the three cargoes are part of the 20 excess cargoes of this year. The three cargoes will be delivered around late July or early August, according to Zikrullah.
