UK gas producer firm British Gas (BG) and French energy giant Total have signed sales and purchase agreements with state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero) to supply the latter with 1 mtpa and 0.5 mtpa of LNG, respectively, under 15-year and 20-year contracts starting in 2019.

Previously, this portal reported that Pertamina has clinched a deal with Shell Eastern Trading (Pte) Ltd, a Singapore-based subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell, to purchase 1 mtpa of LNG.

?Pertamina has clinched three deals with BG, Total, and Shell respectively at competitive prices for the supply of LNG at a combined volume of 2.5 mtpa,? an industry source told Petromindo.com.

The LNG price is slightly lower than the price that has been agreed upon by Petamina and Italian firm Eni SPA for Jangkrik LNG. The Jangkrik LNG price is about US$13.5per mmbtu, CIF Jakarta, according to the source.
