Bhakti Energi to build power plant East Kutai

Coal miner PT Bhakti Energi Persada plans to build a 2x300 MW mine-mouth power plant at its concession in Muara Wahau, East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province.
?We are planning to build a 2x300 MW mine-mouth power plant to help supply the electricity demand in East Kalimantan,? said Bhakti Energi CEO Azhariyanto during a presentation at the local regency administration office Friday as reported by news agency Antara. No further details about the project were provided by Antara.
Bhakti has seven subsidiaries operation coal mines in Muara Wahau. (*)
