Bharat Petro in Indonesian drilling campaign

Bharat Petro Resources (BPRL), the exploration and production arm of Indian firm Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) will carry out 20-well drilling campaign globally in 2013, including in Indonesia.
An Indian media reported on Monday that the company will drill 2 wells in Indonesia .
The company has a 12.5 percent interest in Nunukan PSC offshore East Kalimantan which is operated by US oil, gas firm Anadarko Petroleum (35 percent). Other interest holders in the blocks are PT Medco E&P (40 percent) and another Indian company Videocon Industries Limited (12.5 percent).
The partnership announced in November last year discovery from badik-1 exploration well which encountered approximately 133 net feet of oil and gas pay. (*)
