Bhatia to raise coal imports from Indonesia

Indian firm Bhatia International Ltd will further increase imports of Indonesian coal to 12-15 million tons next year from this year?s target of 10 million tons, a company official said.
Vikas Vijayvargia from the company?s Indonesian unit PT. Bhatia International told Petromindo.Com that as of September of this year Bhatia has imported around 6.5 million tons of coal.
Last year, the company imported 5.4 million tons, he said.
The coal mostly comes from Indonesia?s top 10 producers operating in Kalimantan, he said without identifying the companies. (denny)
