Bhoruka to start coal production from Kalimantan mine

PT Bhoruka Power, an Indian coal mining company, will produce 1 million ton of coal per year from its concession in East Kalimantan.
"We will start our maiden production in the next three months," Bhoruka's President Director Vivek Agarwal told Petromindo.com recently.
Bhoruka owns 250 hectares coal concession in Muara Jawa, Kutai Kartanegara, with 5 million tons of proven reserves.
Agarwal said that the company will sell the coal to China, India and domestic market. According to the company?s website, coal produced from the mine has CV of 5,817 kcal/kg (ADB)
PT Bhoruka Power is a unit of Indian power firm Bhoruka Group.
