Bhumi Rantau sees higher coal selling price in H2

South Kalimantan coal miner PT Bhumi Rantau Energi (BRE) said that its average low-rank coal production during first semester reached 220,000 tonnes per month and expects to produce 250,000 tonnes per month starting third quarter of this year, the company?s official told Petromindo.Com

?Despite unfavorable weather during the first semester, we still can meet our target to produce around 3 million tonnes of coal this year,? the official said.

The company is also expecting better coal prices during second semester of this year compared to first semester?s average selling price of around $53-54 per tonne, the official said without giving the figure or percentage how much the price will increase.

All the coal has been sold out for this year. The company has bagged coal supply deal with China, India, Thailand, and to Holcim Indonesia.

BRE is coal unit of PT Tapin Suthra Berjaya (TSB), a joint venture between PT Hasnur Jaya Utama (Hasnur Group) and PT Padangbara Sukses Makmur. (denny)
