Bhutan?s Kingyal Coke and Chemicals is seeking 200,000 tonnes of thermal coal for this year from Indonesia?s reliable coal miners, a top executive of the company told Petromindo.Com.

Kingyal?s CEO, Rinzin LHAMO said that it is for the first time that the company is seeking coal from Indonesia. Before now the company has been buying its supply from within India.

?We are looking for non-coking coal from Indonesia,? she said, adding that the coal is required for manufacturing of ferro alloys and producing soft metallurgical coke.

The coal should be at 10 percent total moisture (max), ash content 7 percent (max) and sulphur content 1% (max), she said.
