Bids for Seulawah Agam geothermal area to be opened today

The Directorate General for Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation is scheduled on Wednesday to open tender documents for the Seulawah Agam geothermal working area in Aceh.

Four companies are said to have participated in the bidding for the geothermal working area.

?The opening of the (tender) documents will be made today. I don?t know yet the number of (bidders) participating, usually they come at the last minute,? said Director for Geothermal at the directorate, Tisnaldi to Petromindo.com Wednesday.

According to a source, four companies have made bid for the Seulawah Agam working area. They include Chevron, Pertamina, consortium of PLN and Origin Tata Prima, and a consortium of Toba Lestari and Ormat.
