Indian coal miner operating in Kutai Barat, PT Bina Insan Sukses Mandiri (BISM) has cut production to 150,000 tons per month in the last two months from last year's monthly average production of 200,000 tons, due to weak price of coal.
"The market is now slow because the price is going down. Our production is cut down to 150,000 ton in the last two months. But once the price is back up, production could be ramped up back to 200,000 tons per month," a source in the company told Petromindo.com.
Bina Insan has 5,000 hectares of concessions with an estimated total resources of 200 million tons.
