Bina Sarana aims to emulate last year?s feat

PT Bina Sarana Sukses, a mining contractor, is targeting to engage in 1.3 million tons of coal production and 1.5 million tons of overburden removal works for this year, the same as last year.

Johannes De Brebeuf, General Manager Business Development and Engineering Bina Sarana Sukses told petromindo.com on Monday that it would be an achievement if the firm could just emulate what it has achieved last year amid the current adverse coal market condition.

In fact, the trend may continue beyond 2012. "So our production target is still the same with the year before, and likely in 2013 it will remain the same," Johaness said.

In coal production works, the firm has two major clients, PT Pesona Khatulistiwa Nusantara (PKN) and Baramulti.

Of the 1.3 million of coal production target, about 800,000 tons of which will come from Baramulti and 500,000 tons from PKN.
