Binamitra sees 2009 coal production decline

East Kalimantan coal miner PT Binamitra Sumberarta said its 2009 coal production was recorded at around 750,000-850,000 tonnes, compared to around 1.7-1.8 million tonnes of coal reported last year.
The company?s officer told petromindo.com that bigger part of the coal production from the company was sold to traders for export. However, the officer refused to give further detail on the decline in this year?s production.
Domestically, Binamitra has long-tem supply contract with PT Terminal Batubara Indah, a Cirebon-West Java-based coal trader.
The company sells coal with CV range of around 5,850-5,950 Kcal/kg.(denny)
