BJU sees stable coal output

East Kalimantan coal miner PT Bara Jaya Utama (BJU) sees stable coal production target at 1.8-2 million tons for this year, an industry source told Petromindo.Com

?The company aims to produce around 2 million tons, the same with last year?s coal output,? the source said. The company said that it still has spot cargo allocations for second quarter delivery period, the source said.

BJU's coal mine is located in Berau Regency some 12km from Segah River, the main coal transport route in the regency viable for 300 feet barge to pass. The calorific value of the coal is of 5000 kcal/kg (GAR), TM 24-26%.
