BKS signs 1-year coal supply deal

East Kalimantan coal miner, PT Bara Kumala Sakti (BKS) has signed a 1-year coal supply deal with trading firm PT Bara Indah, an industry source told Petromindo.com
?BKS agrees to supply 1 vessel of coal per month to Bara Indah,? the source said. The coal supply has started since January this year, the source added.
BKS has resumed production since early January. At present, the mine is expected to produce 100,000-150,000 tons per month. BKS is coal unit of Indian firm Archean Group.
The mine's coal has CV of 5,000 kcal/kg (GAR) and sulphur content of 1.4-2.0 percent.
