Black Platinum announces drilling schedule

Indonesia-focused energy firm Black Platinum Energy Ltd (BPE), based in Mah?, Seychelles, said exploration drilling at Atlas #1 well in Titan PSC offshore East Java was scheduled to start this month.
BPE has a 25 percent non-operating interest in the block, which is operated by AWE Ltd.
BPE?s President Director W. Yudiana also told Petromindo.com that drilling at North Ganal PSC in Makassar Strait is scheduled to begin in July this year. The firm has a 20 percent non-operating interest in the block, which is operated by Eni S.p.A.
Meanwhile, drilling at its wholly-owned North Sokang PSC in East Natuna Sea is scheduled to start in September this year, he said.
?We won?t participate in any block tender this year as we are still focusing on the drilling programs. If the results are good, we shall continue with development plan,? Yudiana said.
He also said the firm is not interested in shale gas and CBM.
