Black Platinum mulls building mini-LNG plant in Natuna

Indonesia-focused exploration firm Black Platinum Energy Ltd. considers building a mini-LNG plant in North Sokang, Natuna Sea.

The firm?s CEO W. Yudiana Ardiwinata told Petromindo.com that the plant will process gas from North Sokang PSC block operated by Black Platinum through its subsidiary North Sokang Energy Ltd.

?We have been successful in discovering about 920 bcf of gas in the block. We plan to deliver the gas to Singapore and are studying the option of building a mini-LNG plant,? he said.

Black Platinum has 100 percent interest in North Sokang block, which was awarded in late 2010.
