Blackspace starts C. Kalimantan coal production

Russian firm Blackspace has started coal production from its Central Kalimantan mine and is embarking on ambitious plan to increase production capacity to 10 million tons of high quality steam coal annually.
According to the company?s website, as per March 2017 the company has produced 50,000 tons of coal.
Currently coal produced is hauled to port by trucks.
To reach production target of 10 million tons per annum, Blackspace is planning to develop the first ever specialty coal rail in Kalimantan with total length of 93 km. The railroad will be used to transport coal from the mine site to the Tewang Karangan river port.
The company?s mine is located in Gunung Mas Regency.
The mine covers an area of 3,8000 hectares with estimated resources of 200 million tons and CV of 6,300 kcal/kg (net).
