Bligh Mining in coal exploration stage in Papua

Australia-based Bligh Mining Pty Ltd said the company is conducting exploration on its two coal concessions in Sarmi, Papua covering area of 60,000 hectares.

?We hope to finish the exploration this year,? source of the company told Petromindo.com.

The source said that the IUPs for the two concessions had secured ?Clean and Clear? status from the government.

Bligh Mining planned to list the company in Australia Stock Exchange on May.

The source said that the company has another small concession of 2,000 hectares in East Kalimantan.

?We are eyeing to acquire new coal concession in Bengkulu,? the source said.

The company's website said the Bligh Mining is an Australian registered company with offices in Sydney, Jakarta, Bali and Flores. The company has a strong focus on identifying and developing mining opportunities in Indonesia that are highly prospective for manganese, base metals, and precious metals mineralization.

The company?s primary assets include operational licenses covering large landholdings located on Flores Island, Sabu Island, West Timor and Sulawesi. Bligh Mining?s board and management team has extensive global experience in resources identification and development and is currently directing multiple active projects while evaluating ongoing acquisition opportunities in the Indonesian archipelago.
