Blowout fire occurred at Kondur?s well, no casualty

Upstream authority BP Migas said Monday a blowout and subsequent fire occurred at PT Kondur?s BY01 well onshore Riau Province on Monday at two a.m. and has damaged the well?s rig used by PT Java Velosi Mandiri.
North Sumatra BP Migas official L. Harijanto said a fire team from Kurau field basecamp has successfuly stopped the fire by 08.05 a.m. No casualty was caused by the incident.
?Emergency support team from Jakarta is preparing to go to the location to investigate the incident,? Harijanto added. (godang)
