Blowout in Exspan?s E. Kalimantan gas well

An old gas well that was being worked over in Exspan Kalimantan?s within Tarakan production sharing contract area, East Kalimantan blew out on Monday causing injuries to six workers
No Exspan?s personnel was immediately available for comment, but Pertamina?s spokesperson L. Harijanto confirmed the incident. He could not give further detail.
Exspan is a subsidiary of publicly listed oil and gas firm PT. Medco Energi International Tbk.(godang)
