BMU's chief commissioner Yan Bunyamin said in Jakarta Tuesday that BMU, which sells LPG brand MyGas, was constructing a receiving terminal, with a capacity of 10,000 tons of LPG, in Indramayu , West Java in order to meet the company's sales target of 500 tons of LPG a day.
Bunyamin said that the receiving terminal was expected to begin commercial operation in 2006, with the ability to hold LPG stocks for between 20 and 21 days.
"We have started selling LPG under the brand of MyGas albeit with a limited capacity," he added.
According to him, BMU, which buys its LPG from Pertamina, sells LPG in the market in iron tubes and transparent tube with a LPG content of between 10 kilogram and 12 kilogram.
BMU is one of new companies licensed by the government to sell LPG here following the removal of Pertamina's monopoly in the LPG market. (*)
