The Badak LNG plant in Bontang, East Kalimantan, operated by state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, has thus far delivered 80 of the 170 cargoes of LNG it plans to produce throughout the year, according to a Pertamina official.
?All our commitment to buyers this year will certainly be met. Pertamina has just sent off four spot cargoes to Japan last month,? Didik Sasongko, Pertamina?s VP for LNG Marketing told Petromindo.com on Tuesday, without naming the Japanese buyers.
?Until the second week of this month, a total of 80 cargoes have been delivered, out of the annual commitment of 170 cargoes,? he said.
Bontang is projected to produce 170 std (standard) cargoes of LNG this year, a decrease from 185 cargoes last year.
