Badak NGL President Agus Haryanto said LNG vessel ?Palung? carried 152,000 m3 of LNG.
Earlier on April 23, 2009, Badak has also shipped 152,000m3 of LNG to Gwangyang, South Korea, home of steelmaker POSCO.
Another shipment of 150,000m3 is tentatively scheduled on May 24 to South Korea, he said.
Earlier Agus Sapto Rahardjo, a BPMIGAS official said that other South Korean company that would offtake one Badak LNG cargo is K Power.
Under the swap deal, Badak would send three cargoes of LNG to Tangguh?s customers and Badak would later reclaim the cargoes from Tangguh. The deal is undertaken as Badak is experiencing surplus due to cargoes cancellation from customers, while Tangguh is experiencing technical difficulties that caused shipment to be delayed several months to June 2009.
