State-owned electricity firm PT. PLN said that the Borang 100 MW gas-fired power plant in South Sumatra resumed operation on Sunday after receiving gas from PT Medco Energy.
PLN said in a statement that the power plant was suspended on October 13 after gas supply was stopped following expiry of contract.
The company said that Medco resumed gas supply on Sunday at a volume of 8-10 mmbtu, which will gradually increase to 18 mmbtu on Monday to allow the power plant to run at full capacity.
