IDX-listed hard coking coal mining company PT Borneo Lumbung Energi & Metal Tbk said it has made a trial shipment of about 50,000 tons of coking coal to a country in South America.
The coal was taken from its subsidiary PT Asmin Koalindo Tuhup, which operates mines in Muara Raya Regency in Central Kalimantan Province.
Borneo's Director, Kenneth Raymond Allan told Petromindo.com on Monday that the client is a new customer.
?The coal was exported about two months ago,? he said, without disclosing the name of the country and the client.
?We are still looking forward to hearing their response whether they are satisfied or not," Allan said.
In addition, Borneo has also made trial shipment to a new customer in Turkey. ?We delivered 80,000 tons to Turkey three weeks ago,? he said.
