Borneo plans to produce 2.7 million tons of coal next year

IDX-listed PT Borneo Lumbung Energy & Metal Tbk plans to produce 2.7 million tons of coking coal in 2018.
Borneo, through its subsidiary company PT Asmin Koalindo Tuhup (AKT), produces high quality hard coking coal with calorific value 8,300 kcal/kg (ADB).
?The company wants to get production quota as much as 2.7 million tons in 2018 from the government of Indonesia,? Borneo?s Director Kenneth Raymond Allan said in a statement on Wednesday. AKT operates a 21,630 hectare coal concession in Murung Raya Regency, Central Kalimantan Province.
The company said in January it was also seeking for production target of 2.7 million tons this year. As per October, production has only reached 900,000 tons.
